The team of the Centralized Purchasing Operator (CPO) conducted a study and cooperation visit to the Italian central public procurement authority, CONSIP, together with representatives of the Public Procurement Agency.
During the meeting, CONSIP experts provided a comprehensive presentation of Italy’s legal and regulatory framework for public procurement, the national MePA platform, the dynamic purchasing system, and the state e-Marketplace, sharing practical experiences on how digitalization and centralization of procurement contribute to transparency, efficiency, and savings of public funds.
Special thanks and appreciation were extended to the CONSIP team for their warm hospitality and fruitful cooperation, serving as an inspiring example of institutional partnership in support of modernizing public procurement.
