The staff of the Centralized Purchasing Operator and the Public Procurement Agency conducted a study visit to the central purchasing body in Austria, Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG), in the framework of exchanging experiences and strengthening institutional capacities in the field of centralized public procurement.
During this visit, the representatives of the CPO and the PPA had the opportunity to get acquainted closely with the Austrian model of central procurement, the structure and functioning of the BBG, as well as with the best practices that ensure efficiency, transparency and saving of public funds.
The study visit consisted, among other things, of concrete discussions on the use of digital platforms for the development of centralized procurement procedures.
This visit constitutes another important step in terms of implementing successful practices of EU countries in Albania.
